As it's a multi currency based system you won't be able to. MT4 doesn't support this sort of testing

@drwho are you able to get more trade transactions from your friend? Unfortunately, we can't backtest because of the way the EA works. You are fortunate enough to see your friend's real account detail. It would help us out a lot with more confidence to help raise the fund to purchase this EA.

 

Sorry I don't have access to that. I only put my data up as I have it. If people really need so much convincing for such a small financial risk then so be it and that's up to them but personally I'd rather try stuff myself and make up my mind about longterm viability from that data and my own analysis of the system logic. One thing you will never ever get in life is a return without risk and you have to make your own judgement about the balance between the two. In this case, as with the North East Way EA, my own data and chat to the coder about the logic has me convinced that the small risk I'm taking is worth the potential reward. You may not run your life the same way and that's fine. And it's not just about the ROI so far either, it's about the logic. Too many people want something where they don't have to think but just click a button and money gets sent straight to their bank account. Life ain't that simple I'm afraid. Have fun...

 

Why the sermon?

People are just asking questions. Trying to get as much info as they can before they make a decision.

Given you achieved $285 profit in 4days testing why not:
a) put some funds in your friends live account and raise the full $300 for a single purchase ?
b) just go and directly buy the EA is a single purchase and get your money back in a week?
c) wait for people to make a positive decision and get the EA for $15?

Simples.

 

Why the sermon ? Well, I don't consider it a sermon. But look at it from my perspective. By the stage I made my initial response I had done a fair amount of investigation, had gone to the length of getting hold of a version of the EA, had done a bit of trading with it and thought if I could get it cheaply that it would be even better. So I tried to give extra evidence to others who were trying to make their decisions. I copied my Account History (from one of my large 28" monitors) and pasted the screen shot into a post. And rather than thanks, the reply I got was condescending and was told to get more 'proof' (whatever that is). So, if that's the attitude users have to those who try to help where they can I think I'll just refrain in the future.
